Experience lasting FREEDOM from strongholds and walk in the FULLNESS of knowing you are loved
Sharing 5 Christian, Bible-based affirmations to help start your day in His Word and to help encourage you throughout your day!
Affirmations can be great to help with positive thinking, but here’s the issue I see with a lot of affirmations: many of them put the pressure on ourselves to do things in our own strength. And while we’re limited in our own strength, the good news is that we’re limitLESS when we receive the power of Christ and the Holy Spirit. (The Bible says we can do ALL things through Christ who gives us strength!) So if you’re someone who likes affirmations—or if you’re just looking for some daily encouragement—here are five affirmations that will not only help with positive thinking, but that are also rooted in God’s Word. ❤️ I also created FREE downloadable PDFs so you can print these out and put some place where you can see them whenever you need some encouragement—download your copy here!
Are you asking God, “Why?” Try this instead.
Are you asking God, “Why?” Try this instead👇
Sometimes you and I can get stuck on the “why”—asking God WHY we’re going through what we’re going through; or asking God WHY something that we desire isn’t happening. But the truth is, we don’t always know the “why” behind our current season. So whenever I find myself focusing on the unknowns and getting wrapped up in feelings of fear or doubt, I need to shift my focus from the WHY onto the WHAT I know to be true—that God is a good, kind, compassionate, loving Father who knows His plans for me and has plans to give me hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Will you join me in choosing to lean into faith and focus on His truth today? 🤍
A reminder of how close He really is
Do you ever feel far from God? Know this: He is ALWAYS with us, but sometimes we need to take a step back towards Him. And when we do that, He is waiting—not to condemn us, but to wrap us up in His loving embrace. If you’re hurting or struggling with sin or feeling broken or weary, find a quiet space today and cry out to Him—pour out your emotions and allow Him to fill those places in your heart with grace and healing.
Reflecting on 2.5 years of sobriety this week!
Two years ago, I found myself with my Bible in one hand and drugs in the other. I was in tears because I wanted so badly to stop, but I just couldn’t do it on my own. At that moment, God spoke to me more clearly than I’ve ever heard. Sharing what I heard from Him in this short video, in the hope that this will encourage anyone who’s desiring true FREEDOM. ❤️
1️⃣ The Lord goes ahead of us in our battles—we’re not alone in our battles.
2️⃣ To experience freedom, we must rest in His power and have faith that HE is the one who’s going to give us victory.
3️⃣ While God goes ahead of us, we also have to keep taking steps forward. He WILL make a way, but we have a part to play as well.
Ask God to give your situation a NEW name.
In this 5-minute devotional, we read in Genesis about how God gives Jacob a new name, and about how Jacob gives his son a new name as well—and what that might mean for our lives.
Sharing a part of my personal story of God’s deliverance.
Sharing a part of my story of how God's delivered me from 15 years of alcoholism, 20 years of eating disorders, and a decade of drug abuse, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
God has given me FREEDOM from it all and has shown me how to live in the FULLNESS of His love. My purpose now is to share His way with you. If you’re struggling with your own chains and long to experience the fullness & freedom that God desires for your life, it would be my greatest honor to support you in your journey—schedule a free call with me today!

If your faith is feeling low or if you’re in the middle of a battle, this is what praise can do!
If your faith is feeling low, or if you’re in the middle of a battle, do this:
Even if you don’t feel like it, even if it’s the last thing you want to do, try giving God PRAISE with a heart of gratitude. I may be sober now, but I’m also in long-term recovery. I have to fight for my sobriety every day, and one of the ways I do that is through praise. 🙏 Why? Because praise has the power to:
Shift our focus off of ourselves and onto God’s greatness
Invite God’s presence into our present moment, which refreshes and renews our spirit
Be a weapon against Satan (read Acts 16:19-26 for an example of this!)
If you’re in a battle today, I hope you’ll join me in fighting with our PRAISE!
